What is DBT?

DBT stands for Dialectical Behavior Therapy and it is an evidence-based treatment for borderline personality disorder, depression, anxiety, and PTSD, as well as suicidal ideation, self-harm, substance use, and disordered eating. It consists of building skills in the areas of mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance to create a life you want to live.
